Already trained?

If you have existing qualifications that are yet to be formally recognised, you may require a Recognition of Current Competency (RCC).

RCC is the process of assessing your competency against the assessment criteria of an accredited qualification for a unit, or for even a whole qualification.

You may have achieved competency through any or all of formal or informal training, or work or other life experience.

After assembling evidence of your existing qualifications you can discuss your next steps with Conwal & Associates staff.

RCC will most likely be suited to you if:

• You have been working in an industry for some time without formal skills recognition
• You can provide your record of learning for any workplace legislations / standards you have already achieved or you agree to sit an assessment paper which will test your level of area knowledge
• You can provide a written evidence of your work history, including testimonials from your employers, clients and industry colleagues.
• You can provide verified records of practical work undertaken that relates to each unit of competency, are required to evidence competence.
